It seems weird to me to have a pyramid hierarchy system that has no mental fitness checks for the people in it. You get a untreated mentally disordered person in there (Trump, Alito) and it's game over.
Other careers have yearly mental hygiene checks why not the most important jobs?

If the Sep. 2 boat really had "narco-terrorists" on board, questioning the survivors would have been a way to learn about how the organization worked, where more drugs were stashed, etc. But this isn't a counter-terrorism campaign. It's a shooting gallery with helpless targets.

Today we remember the thousands of Americans who died in the attack on Pearl Harbor 84 years ago. Nearly half of those lost were aboard the USS Arizona, and I remember what a moving experience it was when Gabby and I visited the memorial. We’ll never forget their sacrifice.
