Rewatching Reds and remembering how Beatty was criticized for grandstanding. But the first half is less about John Reed than Louise Bryant’s struggle to be seen, how she’s dismissed and belittled even in progressive circles. Keaton is magnificent.

Cool result for all the companies that use UPS for domestic shipping. I know the Trump admin is ultimately to blame, but a private company wantonly destroying packages seems like a path to some lawsuits.

About a month ago, the Trump administration got rid of the de minimis exemption, whereby packages valued under $800 could slide in without import duties. Now there's a backlog as the government can't process all of this paperwork, leading to UPS just destroying packages

No, you’re right. It’s a record store on Hawthorne. The business that was in the same space in the late ‘80s was an adult video store. Pre-gentrification PDX.
