occasionally, USPS sends the "Informed Delivery" message, with no physical mail - usually some little blurb about the post office, etc. I got one today. suggesting that I sign up for informed delivery. that I would ONLY SEE IF I'M ALREADY USING INFORMED DELIVERY

What a difference one week makes. 7 days ago, I was still avoiding anything political, borderline depressed after the debate. Today, I'm reminded that by the nature of "cracking and packing" gerrymandering, it only takes a few extra percentage points to break the floodgates.

Update on Shasta - she's gone from #ShelterCrush to #foster - she's hanging out at home with London. Unfortunately she sees little dogs as prey, so as long as Oscar is around (our geriatric chihuahua) she'll have to be a temporary guest.

Back with a couple new #ShelterCrush doggos. Sugar, an itty bitty pittie who just wanted to crawl into my lap for pets. Also Matterhorn, for any Washington "house divided" families - a Husky, with Wazzu coloring
Sugar, small fawn pittie with black muzzle and white chest. About 25#, 12-15" tall at the shoulder Matterhorn, a young cinnamon and white colored husky. Beautiful big blue eyes, very gentle, lots of energy (very husky)
