I just assumed everything was normal, since I don't see any Mariners games scheduled for at least the next few days...just like a normal start of October

Unfortunate side effect, now I'm getting notifications that at a glance look like someone asking me "Got a minute?" with each like.

most EV's don't have a multi gear transmission. Unlike internal combustion engines, with useable RPM ranges from ~500 to ~10k, electric motors have full torque at 0 rpm, and much higher upper limits. (~20k for a model S, at almost 200mph).

It's the One Podcast theory, in which they review the One Book To Rule Them All as prophesized.

It's probably just the way the post cropped the picture, but I think I've seen that hat before...

I love this idea, but in my experience I rarely get to meet the kids any time soon, let alone their parents. It would be nice to use the kid's social life to start meeting other adults though!

Agreed. For realism reasons, the first 2 "real results" should be to almost related reddit posts, and if its car related in any way at least one ebay motors link.

And now we're back to Kendra's comment. Glad for you to have been so emotionally mature as a tween to be able to process better than most adults.

Most people react to physical and emotional trauma, and find coping mechanisms to minimize that trauma. Most of us in this thread used hiding.

35 years ago I was the 3rd smallest kid in my grade, had been spit on, slammed into lockers, and routinely hit / kicked / bumped in halls between classes. Having endured years of low level physical abuse, it was less painful to do everything I could to not draw attention to myself.

Assuming no ill intent, but it seems like you read descriptions of us talking about childhood trauma, and experiences of being bullied, and just said "Why don't you just not react to the bullying".

The trauma was 30+ years ago.

Additionally, my gen-x self still has a constant dread of someone finding out I like something and using that as a source for teasing / bullying. The 80s and 90s sucked.
