the alien is also kinda genderless but like. not really but it doesn't matter because it still also undergoes massive gender updates via merging with a human consciousness. they both learn together!

I plan to subvert this trope by having a guy whos brain got merged with an alien - they/them because they're literally plural but also because it *drastically* changed the character's understanding (and thus expression) of gender. cant wait to actually write them more lol

I didn't feel comfortable saying "im trans" out loud until *after* I started hrt, at least 5 years after reckoning with not being cis.

I was wanting hrt for *years* and still wouldn't feel comfortable acknowledging being trans!

Than it is to be able to recognize the bad advice or suggestions that they provide.

It doesn't matter if, for instance, the people saying "the best response to violence at a protest is to sit down and show the cops you're not a threat" are trolls, feds, or well-meaning dupes.

It's important to know that the advice will get folks hurt or killed, and should not be trusted.
