Maggie is the coolest. I had so much func chatting with her about the radically queer and feminist world of early silent cinema!
I was *honored* to chat with the great @oldfilmsflicker.bsky.social for her new Silent Sundays interviews series!!! 🎶🎞️❤️

We talk about Léontine (obvi), death by laughter, feminist archival curating, @nastysilents.bsky.social, and much more!!

As Black History Month approaches, a reminder that HORROR NOIRE, the best-reviewed documentary of 2019, is at 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, but is still not “Certified Fresh” because there are only 38 reviews (RT says limited release movies require 40). Is this the year? Will you answer the call?

Go see SEND HELP! Sam Raimi is back, babes!
MJ’s @silberwhatever.com says, “SEND HELP relishes dishing out its ironic fates and telegraphed swerves because it understands how satisfying it is to get exactly what you ordered.”

#SendHelp is now playing in theaters.
SEND HELP is a horror comedy about self-actualizing in the face of misogyny — Moviejawn

I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.
