I can’t vote in Minneapolis.
But if I could, I would vote for DeWayne Davis.
The polls are officially open, Minneapolis!

Today you can choose a different course for our city. You can choose a mayor who cares as much about your city and your neighbors as I know you do.

We deserve better, Minneapolis. Rank me first when you vote today so we can do better – together.

Bad news for Walz. He has a real opponent. Presumably a Speaker can win a primary.

After eight years as mayor of the largest city in the state, Jacob Frey has exactly 0 endorsements from state legislators.

Mayor Frey’s inability to work with people at the state and county is holding Minneapolis back and Minneapolis residents are paying the price.
A beautiful day out talking with voters about DFL, Labor endorsed parks candidates. Minneapolis is ready to elect a pro-worker park board!
There’s a knife fight over on Twitter and someone is going to lose an eye. Careful out there, folks.
I’m ranking Amber Frederick 1st. She’s a youth homelessness prevention worker at the Y, gee up in an AFSCME union home, and is the only DFL & Labor endorsed woman running at-large. Time for new voices on the Park Board who will respect the workers who make our parks so great!

I won’t let Trump use hunger as a political weapon.

His Department of Agriculture has multiple ways to continue feeding hungry Minnesotans during the shutdown. And instead of using it, they tried to take food off the table of kids and families across the country.
NEIGHBORING COMMUNITIES, plural. As in the suburbs of Minneapolis, plural.

This election season, there have been numerous instances of Frey allies being indicted or charged with breaking the law.

Today, Shelley Madore was fined for trying to trick voters into thinking she had the DFL endorsement. Earlier this year, Lydia Millard violated fair campaign practices.

Hennepin County Board Chair Irene Fernando: "I do not have confidence that the City of Minneapolis under the current leadership structure is able and capable and potentially even willing to seek the justice and reforms that prevent similar killings in the future."

“You know what the police officer said who took my sister’s case? Mariah didn’t seem like she was afraid enough. Her case didn’t have enough severity,” Hunter said. “In Minneapolis you can be pistol-whipped and it’s not severe enough for you.” www.mprnews.org/story/2025/1...

With Safer Hennepin sending out those mailers calling for Republicans to vote for Jacob Frey, I looked into who is funding them. It's mostly Catherine and Curt Gunsbury, and Lupe Development

The Minneapolis police response to having allowed Mariah Samuels to be murdered is to lie to elected officials and the media about it.

Why have Mayor Frey, Todd Barnette and MPD refused to answer questions about MPD’s inability to comply with the audit into the Davis Moturi case?

Apparently, it’s because they haven’t actually done any work, as Commissioner Barnette just admitted: he hasn’t even been involved.

Our unions make our community strong. Whether it is the people who are building our infrastructure, offices, and homes, our essential workers, our healthcare workers, government employees, or our hospitality workers, I'm proud to stand with Labor in strengthening Minneapolis.
Schaffer is a union buster. Vote Cashman.

This Day in Labor History: October 29, 1962. The Southern Christian Leadership Conference announced Operation Breadbasket, a boycott campaign against companies that refused to hire African-Americans. Let's talk about this core part of civil rights worker activism and the rise of Jesse Jackson!

Mayor Frey and MPD continue to avoid accountability at every turn.

This time, they’re willing to violate the City Charter in order to do so.

According to the City Council, Mayor Frey and MPD are refusing to comply with a request to see the results of MPD’s investigation into the Davis Moturi case.
