Poilievre’s interests align with oligarchs, not the working class.

The CBC would benefit from a bias review at the producer level and above.

CBC (all stations) should be reminding the public weekly that PP refuses to come in for interviews.

This is terrifying and so wrong. I lived in some of these areas and worked in a dangerous enough industry where access to an ED was important. Took more than one coworker to one of these EDs due to workplace injuries.

We understand that we cannot have an ED in every town, but closures are regularly occurring in places like: Hinton, Edson, Lac La Biche, Oyen... and many more

China is absolutely correct in doing this. Canada should also not send rare earth minerals to a madman. Not to mention any other countries that process them. They want us dead. Let the world stop them by starving them of the ability to produce more weapons, that only hurt the world.

Why do closures of EDs & surgical & obstetric units not provoke outcry in rural Alberta?
I used to train rural anesthesia docs who provided excellent service to their communities such as Edson, Ponoka, Westlock
Drumheller, Slave Lake etc. Not now.
Why does this not matter to rural Albertans?

Write & ask PM Carney to fund a National Citizens Assembly on Healthcare for these 3 core issues:

1) Jurisdiction
2) For Profit vs Non-Profit delivery
3) At Fault vs No-Fault harm in care compensation.

S Korea Nationalized healthcare and it paid off big time.

We need Federal Gov to initiate more action @mark-carney.bsky.social OR create atmosphere for public mandate via citizens assembly.

Prov’s failed, too many examples.

I can imagine the stresses health workers are going through.

Being expected to perform at your top ability, perfectly, day in and day out under constant panic stress is not sustainable.

Kneecapping workers during a performance driven task like ER closures will cause worker injury.

We need a citizen driven mandate for changes. Fund a National Citizens Assembly please.

- EMS calls hospital staff for help - crew in significant distress because there is nowhere to take this patient
- Local nursing staff tries calling physicians in the community
- One provider is 25 minutes away
- Resuscitation terminated pre-hospital - "no receiving site"

Elections won’t drastically change healthcare unless there are core topics on the ballot.
For me that’s Jurisdiction, non-profit delivery & no fault harm comp.
