^ FACTS. There seems to be no broad appetite for real simplification of the current, webuser interaction.

Not web related example, I could end to end encrypt in irc decades ago, but here we are still trying to make it somehow, better than what it is, which is keys, access to those keys, and users.

haha yeah, I mean, stripping out garbage seems somewhat easier than building some stuff from scratch… It makes security a little bit easier, if doing interactive, on an established platform. When it’s custom, welp thats why security conventions are a thing. ;)

Simplicity is good, and in fact generally the way, once you need to do things with users though it gets more complex.

You can do statics with “authors” but it’s way more cumbersome and really, you have to develop a workflow that might be harder for the less technical.

So the arrest of the girlfriend of the leader of antifa, should be very worrying.

This is where they will start making lists, and arresting enemies of the state and labeling them as terrorists. As silly as the announcement sounds, it’s not silly, it’s actually incredibly dangerous.

Thats a fact, but the minimal security features of phones, is somewhat attractive, something body cameras lack generally is crypto. Never make it easy.
