Yeah, see, I wouldn't like that if Bernie was president, either. If there's motivated reasoning in warning about a bubble, it need not be political. The political problem is acting like waiting for the pop is a strategy and, much worse, the only strategy you need, whether it's coming or not.

Filing notice of interest in this case as someone who wants to know who benefits from all the ™®'s in video game titles. I know why you want a copyright or a trademark. I don't know why you might have two of them in the same title or what legal benefit you get from using it consistently.

It's gonna be the same tac as on violence or lawfare. If our side does any of it - and we don't because that's only partisan plants - it's because the radical left normalized it.

There's something really screwed up about having the resources to get anyone you want to give you legal advice, firing anyone who does not say what you want, then claiming that you were acting on professional legal advice.

Taking that as a given, it is not obvious to me that "Dems govern to your left and GOP governs without any similarity to your beliefs" is a winner for the GOP, but then maybe "Dems govern to your left and the GOP promises you these 3 things only" might be.

On the one hand, I am ashamed of having a hand in the failure of a techy vibe film with cool music by not even attempting to see it.
On the other, Leto's name was the single thing diminishing my interest, so it comes out to a fair place if the Morbius smell drags it out.

I'm, on the whole, an advocate for "Give him prizes that keep him flying 18 hours a day to give acceptance speeches for them for the next 3 years," but this one might be worth it.

From what we can see from the outside there's a better (though not, ya know, good) argument for giving it to Jared Kushner who actually put negotiation time in beyond social media posts. I'm not saying he should get it, but he has more claim to it than the US President, and it would be hilarious.

The theological case is critical to his influence, and not entirely on its own merits. Calvinism was the hottest stuff with certain realms of evangelicalism relatively recently, and many who gained prominence then still have it. Wilson gained influence in part thanks to shared clout.

I know exactly what that feels like. For me it's a little more Link to the Past than Ocarina, but the affection for Hyrule will always be there. It is not by any workable definition my ideal fantasy world, but emotionally every other constructed world has to compete with it.

When someone refers to SCOTUS corruption, I suggest overdetermination. Fine, they have judicial philosophy. But so sure that they make up Trump v US? So sure that Humphrey's dies in interim? So sure that they ride the train off the tracks? Beliefs are fine, but they are too sure only they are right.

Party was escorting a shipment of gifted ceremonial plate armor from one national capital to another. One guy suggested selling it. I should have let them go through with trying to fence a diplomatic shipment of expensive military gear and, as they say, find out.

New term? Can't think of anything else, but I wouldn't have thought that anyone following close enough to get keyed up would see the start of the term as making much of a difference after the endless summer. Maybe news coverage is raising visibility due to the term.
