I really applaud the work on @npmx.dev, but I just tried the page, and I find it to be extremely overstimulating.

It's a *lot* of information on the page at once, and there's no clear distinction between what is "npmx" and "package readme".
Hidden buttons and functionality are everywhere.

I wish people actually read books before making commentary on them because this book is not anti-family at all, just anti-abuse.

It documents her struggle between being devastated by the loss of her mother while feeling guilty that she feels relieved of her mother’s abuse.

I genuinely think that @npmx.dev is a great thing for junior developers, with our job market becoming harder and harder for junior roles having OSS contributions is a great way to stand out and allows you to point at results

Coworker shared this in slack, it's pretty good! Make postgres go brr, and not eat up too much disk, while enforcing more data integrity. me likey. I've done all the 'just slap a B-Tree on it' things, so it's good to see some more efficient options.

TypeScript excitement 😉

Congrats to @jakebailey.dev on updating upstream tsc to default to an unpinned *latest* yearly edition of ES20xx. Heading for TS 6.0 🎉

This mean less transpilation of new JS features & more use of native language features provided by JS engines 👍

The better npm site got warnings on packages that should be avoided yesterday.

Big thanks to the @e18e.dev community for making that easy!

Use it to match and extract parts of URLs, no need to reinvent routing logic. Supports literals, wildcards, named groups, and even regex constraints.

Uh, this is way more interesting than I expected. If you'd like to get involved and help us build a better browser for npm packages, raise your hand. It should be quite a enjoyable project to participate in.
I'm asking because I'm building an alternative to npmjs.com, including the admin ui piece

I have a working mvp, although of course it's very 🚧

if this is something you'd like to contribute to, and you've experienced any of these pain points, let me know - always more fun to build together! 🙏
🙋‍♂️ so ... for reasons:

I would love to know people's frustrations with:

- the current npmjs.com
- admin user flows on npm web ui (and cli, locally)

🙏
