Mind you, the East Wing is a decade older than the interior of the main building (Truman gutted it and completely rebuilt it) so… 🤷‍♂️

Council and businesses have opposing views as to whether that happened.

Official response includes three pertinent things:

1. Council would be liable for injury caused by broken parklets.

2. Council engaged a number of times with all adjacent businesses over recent years.

3. We're going to look at alternatives & there'll be a public consultation.
