Stop shaming those who need to because of where they live/not being able to afford basics otherwise. Good luck affording basics if you make less than $30,000 a year and have 4 kids...even in a 3-generation household.

Ok…this film is weird as hell.
I enjoyed the perspective of the characters through their eyes of the story.
I find the reasons for the “horror thing” to be lackluster and quite lazy.
The hint of a political theme fell flat in practice within the film.
The villain is 💩

Still thinking about a strong conversation I had with a neurodivergent student…who has never learned social and life skills.
They were 💯 protected from the world through homeschooling and are staring at across the board failure as a young adult.
It’s heartbreaking.
