i've been working so hard on this for so long i'm so happy to be able to share this wider.
it's by no means "done" but i really, really strongly felt it was important to create a free, public website that anyone can access.
i went to college, i started a career in web dev, all to see this through.

i did not realise they were based on current loadout. that rocks. makes me feel like i could lean into developing my own playstyle for the first time ever. it makes so much more sense now why they were all conveniently suitable.
The new Vanguard Orders system is live for all players as part of Destiny 2: Renegades.
Vanguard Orders are automatically assigned objectives based on your current loadout. Your teammates activity will count towards most of the Common Orders.
Find them in the Seasonal Hub in the Portal.

man, last night i played the frontiers stuff (with fireteam, invasions etc) and it was a lot of fun. felt like the thrill of an add-wave raid encounter but without much of the actual thinking (except inspectors, the bastards).
as a game, renegades is astoundingly fun. peak destiny.
but...story :(

if you're on the fence about renegades, don't bother.
it's yet another self-contained story that resolves itself in a way that it simply sets new characters up for later.
there are no big story revelations, and the ones that had potential were rugpulls.
it is literally just a star wars advert.

looks like bungie dropped the whole language thing.
probably because the aionian voices were AI generated…but who knows.

with every new release there's a chance to learn more about how these languages work, or don't work.
it's a lot of how i navigate my direction, because with everything bungie's given so far, it's extremely complex to progress.

i was giving someone a lift in my car recently, and they brought up that the "AI in stranger things didn't look very good" and i winced so hard at AI being conflated with CGI that i almost crashed

if there is a red subclass and it’s probably going to be synonymous with the Force from star wars, and it needs to start with “st-“ to match Stasis and Strand, and they reworked the armour stats…

this is really cool. an app called eliksni.app that lets you type in native eliksni script.
hopefully it can expand more in the future as there’s a lot more ligatures that can be added. i’m really eager to find more.
