New from me: Once again Trump launched racist attacks against an immigrant community. He does it because these are his views, because it gets him attention, and because he builds power by inciting harm and violence. www.altrightdelete.news/p/the-white-...

Donald Trump attacked Somali immigrants this week. Here’s why it matters.

@coreyryung.bsky.social given your recent experience with high school kids could this be your dream job?
Do you love travel? Love working with a kid? Love big O notation? Dijkstra's Algorithm? Know game engines?

Here’s a job for you!!

(Also, you must love America and include a photo of you teaching.)

(I‘m guessing it would be a plus if you used the more trad terms “master/slave”, for USB of course)

I think Trump should do as many live events as he can handle right now, and I hope they all get extensively covered by the press.
Brian Kilmeade thinks that Trump should go on the road and promote his administration as if he was running for office. The president hasn't messaged well on the affordability crisis. He might find lying to voters about things like grocery prices won't help win over voters.

Affordability concerns are real because:
- Tariffs raise import costs
- Deportations make it harder to harvest crops
- Attacking Obamacare hikes premiums
- Budget deficits raise mortgage payments
- Undermining the Fed risks inflation.

It's not a hoax; it's a policy choice.

if i was still a race reporter, i'd maybe write about how the image looks almost exactly like the image on the first edition on the cover of the deeply racist novel "the camp of the saints" which is in vogue with the racists running this country (and beyond).

If I was still an art reporter, I would write about the sculptor behind this and whether it intentionally looks like the hands of decaying people

USG knew the drugs (cocaine) were headed to Suriname.

We're about 2.5 years away from the 50th anniversary of Prop 13. My hunch is that the polling will be similar to the 40th anniversary, maybe just a smidge higher for homeowners (the gainz since 2018!) and a smidge lower for renters.

Most renters think "Yeah, one day I'll benefit from Prop 13 too."

I generally share @astronomers.bsky.social's skepticism of generative AI use for slides. But, I decided to run a test using NotebookLM and now, I'm not so sure. I gave NotebookLM my Criminal Law textbook as it's only source (avoiding GIGO problems) and asked for slides for the Introduction. 1/
I don’t know if anyone else notices or cares, but when I see a presentation in which the speaker uses obviously generated-AI images to illustrate their slides, it makes me immediately less confident in whatever other content they’re presenting.

legally infeasible,
financially infeasible,

Elite capitulation continues.
