lowering the threshold might be easier.

regardless, it’s clear the constitution is incapable of serving as the basis of the state moving forward. The institutions and culture that made it workable no longer exist & we can’t simply close Pandora’s box. But amendments are still easier.

my man, nobody is "sure to win" against Susan Collins, she is literally one of the most talented & successful Republican politicians of the last 60+ years. anyone who says ANY Democrat is a sure thing in Maine clearly has no clue what the fuck they're talking about other than their own vibes.

Given that the ADA requires the executive to essentially prosecute itself in situations like this, how do we fix it going forward? Say in the example of the first 3 years of a first term. Normally the statute of limitations running into a new president would deter, but nobody seems to consider that

Aren’t there more important things for Americans to worry about? Perhaps the legacy of colonialism in SE Asia? Perhaps the risk of mis-gendering Mike Johnson?

it’s surprising how few people care. I posted screenshots of a Democratic player advocating racist policies and essentially nobody gave a shit. It’s been years now, but people will ignore anything unless it confirms their priors.
