yeah thats me?? dreading hitting 28 in a few months now. I keep getting hit with the clarity of "wait why though, 30 isn't old" and that basically lasts up until I see joke #85 about needing to settle down and stop 'acting young' (usually fashion/hobby related) cause you're old after 23 :')

i spent so much of my teenage years being excited to become an adult, i become an adult during 'unprescedented times' only to finally start coming out of my shell around 30 and in those like honest to god 5-7 years roughly the idea of being older then 25 is?? bad??? now ur washed tf up help??

Did people really memorize phone numbers before cell phones, or is that just a movie thing?

I was watching some old shows from the 90s and noticed people would just dial numbers from memory - like they'd call their friends or family without looking anything up.
Made me wonder if that was actually normal back then? Did people genuinely have all their important numbers memorized, or did most folks keep a little address book or written list nearby?
