The very rich live in NYC part time—less than the 183 days that would make them NYC residents for tax purposes. They enjoy food/culture, visit their kids & doctors & lawyers & bankers, oversee renovations, go shopping, then it's off to the Hamptons or London.

Same as it ever was, Mamdani or no.
