The lack of mainstream coverage of regular huge protests reminds me of a talk from a Twitter employees who explained that they had to drop BLM off the Trending Tags section because otherwise it would have been there permanently. The modern media environment has no appetite for sustained movements.

90% of elected Dems do not know how to fight, do not want to fight, did not run for office to fight, and are not smart enough or principled enough to fight. They entered office so they could fiddle with policy and feel important, they want to hide until it blows over, and will find excuses to do so.

It’s hack to say but it’s exhausting that every single Republican administration of my life has tanked the economy and people still need to be convinced to not vote for that
