Yes. Concentrating power in the hands of so very few is inherently not ok. I think part of why they've developed such bizarre beliefs (lookin at you, paypal mafia!) is bc we have such a deep need to be heroes of our own stories: And only a distorted ideology can support such a distorted reality

Asimov was spot on when he figured that the key thing in whether AI would be good or ill came down to the prompt you feed in. He never thought to include a fourth law of robotics saying ‘a robot must never shy away from making claims which are politically incorrect’ though.

It's important to note that while changes to the prompt itself are impactful, changes to the training data, fine-tuning, and reward mechanisms are MORE impactful, hidden from the public, and ultimately where Musk's manipulation of the system to support his political views will escalate.

This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.
It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.
