On the topic of organizing in groups, here's a really great summary of what to watch out for. ANY kind of group can become a high control group, and it's on a spectrum. They're not all Jonestown . But if your group has multiple of these traits, it's probably toxic.

Palestinians aren't asking to be considered citizens of Israel. They want their own state. They just can't have it on land that is already someone else's state, at least not without making a treaty to that effect with that state.

Why would citizens of Palestine get to vote in Israeli elections? They vote in the Palestinian elections, which the PA has signed a deal to actually start having now.

Obviously you don't think genocide is wrong, per se, because you are advocating for one yourselves. That's what it means that you want an entire nationality to cease to exist as such. Forcibly assign them a different nationality against their will, to erase their own, which will no longer exist.

The indigenous Jewish people, a globally vulnerable micro-minority that has endured centuries of persecution, had every right to ask for, and be granted, a scrap of their cultural heritage lands, to have a refuge state on.

The descendants of colonizers had no right to object & declare eternal war.

Phrasing the ending of Israel as just "Making one new, better state," is no different from a white supremacist phrasing ethnic cleansing as "purifying the blood of the nation." It's wrong even if you claim the outcome will be paradise. You don't have the right to destroy other people's states.

Israel already is a democracy with equal rights for everyone living inside it. Israelis of Arab ethnicity serve in the highest levels of government, and even in the IDF.

Palestine is a separate state, that wants to have a very different type of state and national culture. They should get that too.

I'll save you time. Nazi Germany, South Africa, Rhodesia, The Confederacy, right? Yeah none of those are remotely similar to what you are advocating for. What you want is specifically outlawed by the UN Charter itself, so giving you this thing would mean undoing the entire rules-based world order.

Both Germany and South Africa still exist, still governed solely by their own sovereign peoples. At no point was anyone fighting for, or advocating for, them to cease to exist. Because that would be a serious crime, and it remains fascinating and shocking to see how you talked yourselves into this.

People can have extremely different political views, while still agreeing that no, there shouldn't be such a thing as the UN, or any state or nonstate actor, unmaking countries by force against the will of the sovereign people of that nation. That should stay a serious crime, not be normalized.

Only people who want to end the state of Israel by force, against the will of the Israeli people, make there be no such country anymore, think that the people who do NOT want that are part of some specific ideological group, not just "everyone who supports the post-WWII rules-based world order."
