Sorry - there is English commentary, pretty sure I’ve had a few w/o Eng though. Maybe just the big-ticket ones like CVA-TRE? This level of commentary isn’t useful to me, but sometimes they give a bit of context like why players are missing. Had to look up what happened to Paolino and Galassi today

If they don’t bring back English commentary on the superlega I will be able to learn the Italian for numbers 1-25 by the end of the regular season. I think they’re probably just using the Rai broadcast at this point

I watched a bit of Resovia. Zatorski backrow sub for Szalpuk is funky… I don’t know how I feel about it. I get that Resovia has money and Zatorski’s contract isn’t up, but they could’ve got Luke Perry. I get poaching Janusz and his bestie in one go but… best libero in the league 3 years running??

I knew that Rychlicki is an ethnic Pole but actually hearing him speak Polish after so many years in Italy is interesting (not that I understood a single thing). In another timeline he’d be the starting opposite for the Polish NT now…

I catch myself looking for Porro in Milano because he’s been such a mainstay in that team for so long, even though I’m very hyped for him in Piacenza and the new Piacenza in general. The PIA-MIL match esp bc I know he’s across the net and somehow brain still doesn’t compute

Imagine if Ingebrigtsen retired after 2021. No one would say he’s a bad championship racer, he’s only good when paced bc you just don’t have that reality of him losing at championships to talk abt.

But the more bad you give ppl to judge you by the more likely they’ll come up with a conclusion like he wasn’t the shit anyways in a sport like F1 where it’s not just your performance it’s also how your car compares to the rest. Like, look at how ppl talk about Vettel. Not the exact same, but still

Doesn’t mean I *think* so-and-so should retire, not just bc it’s not up to me but it’s fun! It’s cool to see the guys still around, doing their thing even if they aren’t fighting for the same places anymore. I think Zaytsev at Cuneo is neat and Momota should’ve kept going (if healthy enough)

The excitement of the race is draining away and god I am so tired. Was hoping the race would turn boring at some point so I could take a nap before work… my sleep schedule has been fucked so I got approx 4.5h sleep before getting up for the race (and to grab my laptop from the office)

Those complaining about the Virtual Safety Car at the end of the race should note race control had good reason to be extra-vigilant given what happened earlier on.

I am not watching Lublin, I am not watching table tennis, I am hoping Warszawa gets this done in 3 so I can sleep about 6h until F1 qualy at a normal person time (8am)
