This is Maria, a 6-year-old detained by ICE last year.

She began to unravel soon after arriving at a detention center in Texas, wetting the bed after years without accidents, crying through the night and begging to breastfeed again.

Most of all, she wanted to be reunited with her cat, Milo. 1/

as been known: fascism has NEVER politely abandoned power, never once in all of history; the oppressed recognize the state of warfare theyre in and they rise to the occasion... or they dont.

either way, our livelihoods are disturbed, but only one choice guarantees The People's control of it.
“For those who long to kill, the opportunity to do so for ICE—shielded by immunity, offered to regular police too—is the fulfillment of a white accelerationist mandate.”

Columnist @williamcson.bsky.social traces the violence that is America’s sustaining force & what is required of us to oppose it.
Another way out: Power, force, and far-right rewards for killing
The far-right’s celebration of killing and the state’s complicity in it show that violence is one of America’s sustaining forces

This is what is required to sustain and escalate the fight we’re in.

One day marches are powerful for showing the scale of potential force we have.

But that force is only exercised when we get embedded in long term organizing and take the fight to bosses, landlords, and the state.
