In my looking into AI adoption across different countries.
Yes genai and similar things are being adopted it/researched all over .
But Chinese Japanese and Korean companies are more likely to invest into research first rather then pull a Microsoft and just... Add AI to everything

China is arguably adopting GenAI at a faster pace across all facets.
Sure, it’s not putting all its eggs into one basket and the space has greater regulation and direction. But it’s very much adopting the tech in ways that are also seen as negative here.

my hot take this November is that "cheater exposed" videos are a net negative to the speedrunning scene. they appeal to the base instincts of viewers and create acceptable targets of abuse. these things should be handled by moderators in private Discord servers, not shown to millions for humiliation

I've been in or around streaming/Celeste/kaizo spaces for 5 years and it's wild to me that this kind of bullshit still goes on.
