I feel that life is way too short for you to have to contend with any of this. It’s your house, set all the boundaries. Shut down any nonsense immediately. She needs boundaries and guidelines in your home, it’s your small part of the world and you set the tone, not her.

Also, they want to make content. And that means they are going to take the worst stuff people say in response to them (this being the internet, some of which might be quite bad) and splash it across the official comms organs of every major federal law enforcement agency. So take that into mind.

i imagine there’s about to be an influx of MAGA chuds spewing their bullshit but i really can’t stress enough that if we don’t give them oxygen, they’ll get bored and leave. block early and often.

Even if you’re not in the US, probably a good idea to block all these, to minimise snooping potential of people you follow. No good can come of these being on Bluesky. The timing of No Kings day tomorrow is no coincidence.

Is it possible to win a big money prize on the show? If it is then I think I would have a word but would completely understand the motivation. TAs are paid horribly low wages for the important work they do. I think schools should give everyone two mental health days a year to take when they need to.
