One of the funnier things about being of this generation is that we were told (frequently) some stranger was going to snatch us from a public place and then they gave a bunch of creatures with developmentally poor impulse control and a tendency to lose things housekeys and no supervision.

I am watching— for 1st time— Dario Argento’s Phenomena with Jennifer Connelly from 1985. So far there’s a serial killer, a chimpanzee nurse, Donald Pleasance doing an odd accent, an Iron Maiden needle drop, sleepwalking, and a lot of bugs. This movie is absolutely bonkers and I am into it.
