When he imprisoned Felicity for refusing to marry him, I think that choice was definitely fueled by jealousy. He even turned Hideki into a frog! After Felicity saves his life, he does mellow out a bit though

The book was called "When Haru was Here". It was about a guy fresh out of high school who had to cope with the loss of his best friend and his sister. When I picked up the book, I didn't realize it was going to have so much death in it, but it ended up being pretty interesting. It's a queer story
