I don't have the numbers, bit coffee process have certainly shot up due to needless tariffs. Maybe soon it will be like the good ol' days of the depression and then wartime rationing, where we're drinking exclusively herbal tea or ground chicory. Are we great again yet?

It's the intended effect of this administration to follow The Way of the Boiling Frog.

Keep pushing the line of normalization slowly enough that people will accept each step, but long enough to get to the point where anybody and everybody can be sent to a concentration camp.

Padilla: It’s not just undocumented folks who are being detained and arrested. It’s legal immigrants—even US citizens. We know of at least 170 US citizens who have been caught up in these raids and put in detention centers.

Eurasian collared dove coming in for a landing, its light gray body and dark tipped wing and tail feathers on full display. Here in Oregon, they are branded an invasive species. Humans are rather invasive too, though, and we're okay with that.
