Update on the calling-everyone-at-work-"Stretch" situation- yesterday, at the company holiday party, turned out someone's dad had been caught in a taffy pulling machine at a candy factory tour years ago like that one movie, and everyone got mad at me (???) so now I need to figure out something else.

My large department (division? Section? No idea) end of year deal was at a Barcade. Right off, played my best Galaga game in ages. Saw others waste tokens to no avail. It held. I am 50. This is all I have. Envy or pity me. It is your choice.

Had to go to a corner store a block or so away just now to get some last-minute tortilla chips to go with dinner. On the way out, said, “Hope it’s not a REGARDING HENRY situation!” Why would that pop into my head?!?
