I think there are a lot of little weaknesses where public goodwill or at least indifference would go a long way for these corporations
I don't think we're going to see a ton of boycotts of them (or significant boycotts, anyway) but the median position on "should the FTC just ream the fuck out of these guys" shifting towards the "yeah, fuck 'em" end of the spectrum is probably not gonna make them happy.

We're at the point in the story where the FBI is showing up at a dude's house because he attended a protest. Without suspicion of a crime, agents ask important questions like who produced signs for the event.
And it had an impact--he decided not to go back to the streets to voice his opinions.
