This has been my pinned tweet for years but it's as true here as it was there: the highlight of my #gamedev career to date was this spectacular bug from #StarWarsBattlefront Elite Squadron on the #PSP.
A screen capture from the development of Star Wars Battlefront Elite Squadron on the PSP, showing a human figure looking at two AT-ATs on a snowy 'Hoth' level. One of the AT-AT's has collapsed forward and the other is... er... approaching its rear...

Haha, well at least it was a mistake!

Likewise for this army. I have plans to build a "modern" sisters army one of these days. After I've finished this one. And my Drukhari... and my Guard... and my High Elves... and... 😭

Finished this little batch of #SistersOfBattle that I've been painting to bulk up my force for an upcoming Crusade campaign. These old models are fully of little gribblies, casting marks and such but they still look good.

Oh yeah. Those bits at the end when He-Man turns to the camera and says "Remember kids, don't be a lying sack of shit" would be more than relevant right now.

Ooh. It's hard not to think it's just misty-eyed nostalgia talking but shit from the 80s really hits different - I don't think we'll ever achieve quite that level of bombast again. See also this:

Ohh, the 'bolt upright' ones? I have one I used as a test model and I always feel kind of sorry for him. Like, I can see what they were aiming for...? Interested to see how this one turns out though!

Funny how it looks almost too long for that scheme but yeah, still better than Lufthansa's effort!

Oh yes. Many a fun time was had cabling the house and/or college dorm for our impromptu LAN parties.

Well quite, as any right-thinking speaker of the King's English should. The alternative sounds like a member of the A Team.

My new Dark Eldar codex seems to have come packaged with some dessicated Catachan Bloodworms.
Photo of a large cardboard box with a single book at the bottom. Perched on top and to the side are some long, wrinkled worm-like pieces of packaging material.

Wonder how much Humunculus time went into crafting hair that can survive travelling by Reaver. 🤔
