During my time on the NSC, there were 2 calls Trump held with foreign leaders that particularly disturbed me.

One of course was with President Zelenskyy of Ukraine.

This second call with MBS was the second one that really bothered me.

The American people should know what was said on that call.

Alright, alright. I did not expect this at all. Happy to have been wrong about this not passing the House.
Breaking: The House voted unanimously, 426-0, to strip a provision in the funding bill that allowed senators to sue the government for $500K if their phone data was searched without their knowledge.

The provision was designed for GOP senators to sue over the Jack Smith investigation.

Notorious GOP Rep. Cory Mills is now being investigated by the House Ethics Committee.

If Mills doesn’t retire - and if his district isn’t redrawn - his #FL07 seat will be a prime 2026 target for Democrats.

And now Mace has sent a new letter to Speaker Mike Johnson, urging him to remove Cory Mills from the House Armed Services Committee + the House Committee on Foreign Affairs.

She cites a laundry list of reasons why.

Unprincipled and weak. The murder of journalists is perhaps the single most direct violation of the right to freedom of speech. (1/2)
Trump suggests Khashoggi had it coming: "You're mentioning someone that was extremely controversial. A lot of people didn't like that gentleman that you're talking about. Whether you like him or didn't like him, things happen. But he knew nothing about it. You don't have to embarrass our guest."

SCOOP — A former staffer for Rep. Jeff Van Drew (R-NJ), Natalie Green, 26, was charged today for falsely reporting she was attacked by 3 men who wrote "TRUMP WHORE" on her stomach bc of her job. It was staged by her + a friend.

Van Drew isn't named in the complaint but I've confirmed w/ his office.

Medicare for All would save $450B a year.

Every dollar spent on food stamps generates $1.50-$1.80 in economic activity.

Each dollar going to low-wage workers adds $1.20 to the economy overall.

It’s not about what this country can or can’t afford.

It’s about priorities.

Instead of lowering costs for Americans, Trump and Vought want to make it easier for giant corporations to scam families out of their money.

Most of us have no idea how bad it is inside ICE detention centers because they have kept it hidden. Then a truth teller shows up and says it plain.

The conditions are filthy. The treatment is inhumane. The abuse is Systematic and routine.
