bsky.app/profile/wand... There needs to be some tax on yearly net profit when it exceeds a threshold of over a certain % increase from the previous year’s net profit. And I mean a proper tax. While we’re at it, every stock transaction should have a fee imposed on the buyer & seller.

Utah has just approved a 1,300-person “mega camp” for homeless individuals,This camp lacks transportation, features locked units, and even imposes forced labor.

They refer to this facility as “work-conditioned housing,” but we simply call it what it is: modern-day internment.

I renovated the Lincoln Bathroom in the White House. It was renovated in the 1940s in an art deco green tile style, which was totally inappropriate for the Lincoln Era. I did it in black and white polished Statuary marble. This was very appropriate for the time of Abraham Lincoln and, in fact, could be the marble that was originally there!

In an unprecedented move, Austria is regulating rents for the entire country.

All apartments that already have government regulation have seen a total rent freeze this year.

All formerly unregulated units are also getting rent stabilization to limit landlord rent hikes.
