I bought both of those hardcovers when they were released despite the high cover price. I think both have been collected into a Kirby collection quite recently
Don’t know. I did find this page while googling it, so you can compare the storylines. I suspect he may of kept hold of it as it’s a creator owned title and maybe hoped it would still see the light of day with all that painted Blevins artwork
By coincidence the page opposite contains another advert for a comic never released, as I’ve just discovered when I thought to myself “that looks fun, wonder if I can get a copy from eBay”
Strange isn’t it how Frazer Brown has been banging on about TFTQ for years on all his numerous social media accounts and when there’s an opportunity to buy the samplers at outrageous prices, he’s suddenly gone very shy about it all
Good old Frazer Brown, still desperately trying to inflate the prices of the #TFTQ sampler comics. At the money goes to charity this time, but who on earth is going to buy things at those prices. So in effect no money will be going to charity again. & good luck finding the full Toxie story (photo4)
Am I the only person in the country that doesn’t have a printer? So as long as your printer works you can continue to use the services of the Royal Mail
Turns out that rare Jamie Hewlett Pulp comic is being reprinted, but is again very limited and only available in select indie record shops when you buy the £100 box set. I’ll give it a miss I think.
Found this Avengers ad in a 1995 Marvel comic. Drawn by Keith Giffen & I reckon Charlie Adlard, who collaborated on the 1995 comic quoted below. So was this just a house ad, or did Giffen work on the Avengers? When I googled it I found nothing & their AI informed me he’d never worked on Avengers…
It’s now the 5th anniversary of Tales From The Quarantine being funded & a few weeks off from the anniversary of Frazer Brown receiving over £30,000 into his bank account and vanishing. He seems to have lost interest in pretending this is a going concern judging by his lack of social media #TFTQ
Talking of Miller he makes a contribution to the AARGH! but let’s say I wouldn’t share his pages without a warning! It caused controversy when it was released in 1988, so I suspect it would be worse now
40 years since this UKCAC took place. I wasn’t there, but 6 years ago I did get this booklet for it is full of marvellous artwork. Here’s a brief selection -Alan Davis/Paul Neary -Kevin O’Neill -John Higgins -Glenn Fabry
