While I’m here…

I hope the BBC stand up to Trump’s shakedown, but sadly they won’t.

Still dipping into the Treasury of British Comics annual, good fun so far. Have noticed the pages in Kid Chameleon, nicely painted by Ian Kennedy, are printed in the wrong order. Page numbers are correct, the pages printed on them aren’t.

I think the last one which ended in 1990, was the last they’re doing.
I do have these comps Savage did for Caroline True Records, but I’m not sure how many he has done

I tend to buy any compilation Bob Stanley puts out. I enjoyed Jon Savage’s series too, though I’m still missing a few.
I’m still irked that Cherry Red never released the last of Stanley’s Croydon Municipal compilations

He’s given an interview to the Mail where he expands a little on what he meant, but only a little.
Right wingers were angry the other day that one of the presenters asked him what he meant, “everyone knows what he meant!”, so I’d imagine they’ll be equally angry the Mail have asked him too…

Just swap the cycle helmet for a Santa hat and leave it up

Facebook randomly showed me a post on the Heaven 17 page from someone who is disappointed that they may have used AI on the cover. I’d say 95% of comments disagree with her saying that they don’t care or telling her they are pioneers using new technology same as them using synths back in the day

Will you be doing the triple and digging out a Jawa sand crawler?

Yes, I visited there, but there were quite a few times when the downstairs part wasn’t open.

£70 seems like a bargain now

Yes, in their basement. I remember seeing all sorts of things I wished I could of bought in there

I sadly don’t have a list of what was exhibited, I can only remember that Bryan Talbot was in there, not for his Nemesis work that I knew him from at that time. I can’t remember how much I knew about how comics were made in those days, so can’t remember if I was surprised by the size of the art
