did I ever tell y’all about that Thanksgiving my mama went to the hotel to beat up my auntie because she felt like my aunt hadn’t helped enough with my dying grandfather and the hotel room got trashed but my uncle, who’d slept with both of my aunts and my mama, managed to de-escalate
