You also don’t need to tell your reps who you voted for! If you need help, find organizers who are writing scripts for what to say to Republicans that will appeal to their sensibilities. Someone local might have written something specifically targeting YOUR rep!
People who are concerned about their government should absolutely call their representative, no matter what party they are. That's the only way some members will hear that their constituents are pissed that Musk is breaking parts of the government that impact their lives.
I'm serious. Folks often say they have R reps so there's no point in calling them. THIS is a message that will make them scared. This is absolute normie stuff that affects Rs and Ds alike. They need to get thousands of calls about this. reps.fyi

I used to work for an elected official as the person who answered their emails. I can tell you from personal experience, if even twenty or thirty people all call an official in a day, they start panicking. This stuff does help.
I know you hate this advice. I know you hear it all the time, but for gods sake you need to be calling your congressperson. Now. Today.
