I’ve sometimes fallen into the trap of thinking that complementing a creative person for their work is less sophisticated or desired than discussion or debate about it but very often the best thing you can say to them is hell yeah and that doesn’t make you dumb it just makes you nice

I'm of the opinion that the first thing players do in a game is to open the Option Menu. That's why I want to make sure my Option Menu is lively and has all the accessibility features I think the game needs. What do you all think? #gamedev #indiedev #godot #ui #gamedesign #accessibility

I was thinking about this exact thing the other day, while reading reviews of a game similar to my one, to see what people didn't like.

SO many complaints about lack of updates & I'm like... my sibling in Christ this game was $5. You do not get years of updates for $5, I'm so sorry no one told you.
Gamers: I hate micro transactions, they shouldn't exist.

Also gamers: every single game should get regular updates and new content for years after release, without me having to pay for it.

Personally I don't like the predatory microtransactions, but I think extra money for extra content is fine.

Getting very close to having all core stuff done, then the focus will need to be on visuals, balance, content & 'sauce'.

Added a bit of sauce by way of screen shake (optional) and some SFX made with my soda maker.

Bones almost complete, can add meat soon.
