What's behind President Trump's executive order deeming anti-fascists to be terrorists? Investigative journalist @willpotter.bsky.social says it's a "radical escalation" in the administration's "war on dissent and the war on protest."
Still glad he's dead.
If you've never been out of the South but think it's the most beautiful place, you're just wrong.

If you're from the South but have seen CO, the Southwest, or the Pacific Northwest and still think the South is the most beautiful place, you're just stupid.

If you're from Ohio, you're just gross.
It’s because you’ve been unaffected by his politics. It’s because you still think US politics is about voting and debates when really it’s about power. It’s about violence.

This is literally 1930s Germany, and I couldn't be more disgusted.
The only reason some of you Liberals feel empathy for this dead Nazi Youth recruiter is because he looks a lot like your white friends and families.
Btw, "Since I disagree w/ personally murdering someone, I can't be happy that a Nazi is dead" is performative horseshit.

The puritanical urge to feel your hands are clean of a Nazi's death? Yeah, we know you wouldn't have sniped someone through the neck, Beverly.
For what it's worth, I believe there is a difference between...
"I am glad he is dead" and
"I think someone murdering him was a good moral thing for that individual person to do."
Okay. Great. Good for you. Then literally no one deserves to die. Ever. For any reason. Let’s go with that. He didn’t agree with that. He didn’t care if countless people died, as long as he got paid. Oh, but that’s still not enough? He had a family, right? GUESS WHO ELSE HAD A FAMILY??
Okay, but let’s say you still don’t think he should have been killed...
He encouraged Americans to join the gestapo, to turn in immigrant neighbors, to humiliate and brutalize vulnerable communities. And when right wing domestic terrorists continued to kill sitting politicians and even children, Charlie Kirk called them leftists.
You think his words weren't violence? His “Professor Watchlist” was weaponized harassment in the form of constant death threats, doxxing, and campaigns to fire them. Women, Black, and queer faculty were hit hardest.
He smeared migrants as invaders who would “rape your women, take your children.” He demanded that brown figures like Mehdi Hasan and Ilhan Omar be deported. And he leaned into the white nationalist “great replacement” conspiracy, warning elites wanted to “replace white rural America."
Charlie Kirk said the Civil Rights Act was a “mistake." He said trans people should be “taken care of like in the 1950s and 60s” when they were institutionalized. He compared being gay to “drug addiction” and demanded “Nuremberg-style trials” for doctors providing gender-affirming care.
If you believe he didn’t deserve to get assassinated because he “never killed anyone” then you don’t understand the role of politics in systemic violence, and that systems kill millions. Charlie Kirk made a career out of emboldening the worst people to commit domestic terrorism against minorities.
If you say he didn’t deserve to get assassinated because “no one deserves to get assassinated,” let’s unpack that statement. Do you believe Hitler or the Nazis deserved it? What about that CEO? If you think they did, but Charlie Kirk “wasn’t as bad,” then you’ve already broken your rule.
Charlie Kirk was not just a person that I disagreed with.

He was a propagandist for white supremacist christo-fascism.

He served a direct role in Trump’s vetting of cabinet members.

When he wasn’t cheering mass killings in Gaza, he was defending military invasions of US cities.
