I thought I had Mandela effect with it but then o learned that what I’d seen was the sequel series, where they did journey to the centre of the earth and bits of 20,000 leagues under the sea. Slightly different theme music but different lyrics!

I honestly think it’s worse because at least on Facebook there are sometimes people responding “this is bad and you should stop” but on LinkedIn everyone wants to seem professional so they’re all like “yes, this is so true and needs to be inflicted on my workforce too”

Did people really memorize phone numbers before cell phones, or is that just a movie thing?

I was watching some old shows from the 90s and noticed people would just dial numbers from memory - like they'd call their friends or family without looking anything up.
Made me wonder if that was actually normal back then? Did people genuinely have all their important numbers memorized, or did most folks keep a little address book or written list nearby?
