Bad art is a necessary step to making good art, and all artists were bad until they weren't. Very few come out of the womb with a Cintiq stylus in their hand.
Please don't ever stop creating things.

Game idea:
Basically cooking mama, but grilling. Cook burgers, steaks, chicken, veggies, etc. Make marinades. Grill tomatillos and blend into a salsa verde.

There are so many talented indie animators with stuff on Youtube.
Even the rougher stuff, I'm impressed by the work people have put in. You can really feel the effort and vision.

I really hope Yooka Replaylee is good, and if it is, that it sells well enough to make more.

Silksong, after 9 months of game releases all hoping to become game of the year:
Game difficulty is a nuanced subject, but I tend to side more with the pro-artist side of things.
With that said, the first major patch for Silksong is decreasing early game difficulty and I support that, too, for the same reasons.

Silksong has been so fantastic.
It scratches that Hollow Knight itch in a way that sequels don't often do for me. It retains everything - EVERYTHING - I loved, while feeling different enough to have its own identity.

With legal challenges to this law pending, we cannot justify building the expensive required infrastructure.
For now, we have made the difficult decision to block access in Mississippi.

Our Response to Mississippi’s Age Assurance Law - Bluesky
A new Mississippi law requires us to block full access to Bluesky unless all users complete age checks. We have concerns about this law’s implementation.

Any plans to release collections as ebooks? I'd love to get digital versions of the older anthology books like Camp Foxtrot and Foxtrotius Maximus

Weather's starting to cool down here, and I'm all about it.
If I could afford a house, this would be a good day to do some game dev on the porch with a baconeggandcheese

Most horrifying part of this imo is that this country never *stops* funding these things once they start. We've never closed Guantanamo, we've never shuttered Homeland Security. The potential damage here lasts forever.
More context of scale for the #ICE budget.
We are going to war with ourselves.

Having never played any other Paper Mario games, I actually enjoyed my time with Sticker Star.
That said, I tried The Thousand Year Door on Switch, and now I get it.
TTYD is SO GOOD.

Just saw Thunderbolts* and loved it.
I've been hit or miss with the post-Endgame Marvel films, but this one has me genuinely excited for more.

When I joined Bluesky, my goal was to, as much as possible, keep my feed positive and productive. The negativity funnel has no end, and is largely why I dislike using other platforms.
I've been mostly successful, but given the state of the world, it's hard. But that's what makes it important. 🧵

Playing South of Midnight, and loving it so far. Just finished Benjy's chapter and had to put it down, let that story smolder a little longer.

With the support of robust public transit options, we wouldn't need to build everything to accommodate tons of cars. No more 6+ lane roads to go grocery shopping, no more 80% unused parking lots. Cities could be built for people instead of cars.

Hot Take:
I would vastly prefer affordable, accessible public transportation over self-driving cars
If my goal was to not drive, I'd rather just skip all the
- Car payments
- Gas costs
- Inspection & emissions fees
- Registration fees
- Property taxes
- Repair costs
- Tolls
- Etc.
