I watched this the other day and thought about if this situation happened when Trump was president, a truly scary thought because he would be firing nukes in every direction.

"I wear the chain I forged in life," replied the Ghost. "I made it link by link, and yard by yard; I girded it on of my own free will, and of my own free will I wore it.”

Dont know what this takeover would mean for United if it happens but the thought of Cantona as an ambassador for the club is a lovely idea. His approach to the job would be certainly imaginative.

Interesting article about how tactics are changing in football, when he talks about more duels in the game it makes me think how good it would be if teams went back to playing 4-4-2 with wingers taking on fullbacks and centre forwards challenging centre backs

Pep Guardiola’s ideology is dead. So where does football go next?
After 15 years of dominance, Guardiola’s ideas of pressing and possession that gripped the game have now unravelled, giving way to fast transitions and set-piece duels. Is this football’s ‘end of hist...

We have built a society in which people of different skin tones, religious backgrounds & cultures get along, share power, work alongside each other, procreate with each other, recognise the each other’s humanity and democratic rights. It is a STUNNING ACHIEVEMENT OF WORLD HISTORIC PROPORTIONS.
I know statistics are poorly understood and are misused. But facts matter

Between the 1991, 2001, 2011 and 2021 Census *every* ethnic group in the UK has become *less* geographically segregated and *all* groups, majority and minorities, are more likely to interact with people not like them

Great actor handsome devil and a good guy
think Three Days Of The Condor was my fave film of his
Actor, Director, Visionary. He did everything brilliantly.

All the Presidents Men is one of my favourite films of all time and that's before you get to Butch Cassidy, the Sting and all he did with Sundance.

What a life he led.

Shame more companies dont think like this.

"Also, no you don't need any experience.

We want special people, and don’t give AF what their background is. Most of our best people did nothing remotely related to their current roles, so if you've never done anything like this before, don't sweat it"
