I'm on day 5 of excruciating Shoulder pain due to going "a little too hard" at the gym and I am now delirious from all the constant pain and medicine. Seems like I just need to relax but almost every position I put myself in hurts. Whew. Can't wait for this too Shall pass or whatever the fuck lol

I re-watched Network last night and I'm not sure I've seen a 50-year-old movie hold up that well.

It’s so painfully on the nose that an adaptation of Stephen King’s dystopian novel about “win or die” game shows replacing the social safety net, written as Reagan was doing just that, is coming out the same month that SNAP is being halted

RIP Adam Greenberg
He was the superb cinematographer who shot Near Dark (watch it!), Terminator 2: Judgment Day and, of course, The Terminator, which means he’s responsible for one of my favourite shots in cinema that also coined a new genre for its film:

Huge thank you to the comedians, musicians, artists and writers who are just as mad and bewildered as the rest of us but are still doing their best to make life worth living for everyone.

It's one of the many reasons why I enjoy Bob's Burgers. Every season, every year, Halloween, Thanksgiving, & Christmas episodes and they're usually among the best of each season.

Not only is Young Frankenstein a great movie, but it’s also a wonderful snapshot of a bunch of hugely talented people at the absolute peak of their powers. Wilder talked about not wanting to go home, such was the pleasure of making this film, and that energy runs through every scene.
By year of release. That way I can see the history of Cinema

My middle grade novel in prose-verse, HeartLand, grew to 109,000 words. It's now 72,000. But the ghosts of those words are there, haunting what remains. I just received the ARCs, and yes, I can definitely feel those missing words hovering at the edges. Cover reveal coming soon! #kidlit #MG #poetry

Saw #ShelbyOaks last night. Gotta give it to Stuckmann, he did it ladies and gents. It's a fine first feature but I wanna know what he wants to do NEXT. Strong tension and decent scares but writing was the Achilles' Heel here. Good looking for a cheap feature too! 3/5 review coming soon.
It might be the middle of The Week but here's my #LastFourWatched #Letterboxd #Horror #Halloween #BlackPhone2 was my favorite of the bunch!

No person on Earth needs a billion dollars. I think that $999,999,999.99 should be the limit for everyone. Every penny after should automatically go to universal health, infrastructure, education, and addressing issues such as homelessness. But that’s me.
