Out a window onto the roof. Good thing there were no screens. And the cat didn’t go off the edge. Wolf spiders are not cute. It was as big as my hand. It still freaks me out. At least the roaches (except for the “water bugs”) were smaller. Ah, college days. Good times! 😂 I do love Tucson, though…

Yes, it was my least favorite housing situation while in school. There was a stovepipe that opened straight to the sky in our bathroom. I stuffed a blanket up the pipe to keep the rain out. Pulled it down to wash it and came face to face with a wolf spider. Tossed it, spider ran, cat chased it +

When I was in college in Tucson, I lived in an old cockroach-infested house. It was pretty awful. I found out that the can also trigger asthma.

Yes! For me, there are usually several rough drafts where I try different voices, different tones, different characters, etc, all to get at what really works the best.
