Wasn’t able to watch WS live but apparently the Jonas Bros did some of a song at some point? I cannot express this urgently enough: NO. Baseball is not meant to be associated with entertainment. The beauty of baseball is its uninterrupted agony. The outside world must be barred from the stadiums.

My last year teaching in Arizona, Student Council put a poster in the English building that just read "Support Breast Cancer" during Breast Cancer Awareness Week, and that's how MLB's Stand Up to Cancer stuff makes me feel. Appreciate the intent, but the execution leaves something to be desired.
