While we're all laughing at Hurts, this has been the perfect Justin Herbert experience. There are a few throws a game very few QBs can make. Everything in between is filled with questionable decision making, quick pressures, and accuracy issues.

so that wasn't a catch by Likely but it was by Rodgers on his own throw?

yay fun stuff with FTN
The Commanders defense is dead last in success rate vs first read throws.

If Kevin O’Connell can give JJ McCarthy the answers to the test…will he write them down?

pretty cool to put two 20 point underdogs in a playoff instead of a team that can win the playoff

Chidobe Awuzie has been elite in tight coverage this season. He's allowed just one catch for six yards.

Really great read, Sam is excellent. Coincidence that the top two performers use FTN???
I've included commentary and a CSV download in my Substack post here (which you can get delivered to your inbox earlier in the day if you subscribe). This week's post also includes a review of how each source has performed so far this year: samhoppen.substack.com/p/nfl-compos...

Just in: Giannis Antetokounmpo and his agent Alex Saratsis have started conversations with the Milwaukee Bucks about the two-time NBA MVP's future – and discussing whether his best fit is staying or elsewhere, sources tell ESPN. A resolution is expected in the coming weeks.

According to our charting team, Aidan Hutchinson now leads in pressures generated. Myles Garrett still leads in the rate in which he turns dropbacks into pressures.

When you consider pressure and sack rates along with play on the field, Dak is making a compelling case for MVP.

That Tim Patrick drop was Trevor Lawrence's 29th suffered drop this season per @ftnfantasy.com.

That's 6 more than any other quarterback.

Lawrence has more drops this year than Tyrod Taylor, Lamar Jackson, J.J. McCarthy, Jordan Love, and Sam Darnold had pass attempts in the early window today.

Most analysts exaggerate the impact of singular players on an NFL team that aren't quarterbacks. If anything, the Joe Alt discourse might be understating his impact.

looking good, Rod
Bo Nix looks like a 17-year NFL veteran whose rookie year was 1967

Dak’s having a monster year given how tight the windows have been. Shows how far just one more quality receiver can take him.

The Eagles landed an elite pass rusher in Jaelan Phillips, who added four more pressures last week against Detroit.

I have no idea if Tyler Shough or Spencer Rattler are any good, but it's not going to matter with tackles like these.

Caleb is holding the ball longer than anyone in the NFL, which has created a high pressure rate.

He's now far better at avoiding those pressures this season and is avoiding sacks almost twice as frequently as the next most elusive QB.
