I used to have a great EDM record collection in the late 90s but streaming ruined everything.

Yes. This is a fundamental issue that I explore in my upcoming documentary Inspired Ground. Human creativity is under assault by the forces behind the attention economy.
It'd be amazing to be able to pursue art / creation as a primary purpose and vocation WITHOUT having to also learn how to perform on camera, maintain a youtube and/or ticktock channel, stream video games, or what have you. The fact that we're all apparently expected to be "influencers" now is wack.

Truly one of the worst times in human history to be a creative individual. All innovation has been subsumed under the paradigm of techno-scientific capitalism and anything that deviates from the imperative to assetize human life or attention is seen as backwards. Bleak.

Given the high level of susceptibility to propaganda of the average American and the source of the data, we can reserve judgement on the veracity of the IP locations provided, which are easily spoofed anyway. Somehow China will be the biggest "offender" or some other target of U.S. economic warfare.
There has to be some way for White Americans on here to talk about the revelations of Twitter having bot and troll farms based in India and Bangladesh without sliding into racist ignorant tropes but maybe that is asking too much

Way back when my parents, for no good reason, put me in a junior high run by crazy Florida evangelical born-agains I never imagined their insane worldview would be shared by half of the U.S. population. But, here we are.

Re the current X "scandal": remember that Tesla now owns the platform. So, there are geopolitical considerations, too
Why would you trust anything that comes out of X, though? Do we have independent confirmation of the veracity of the data? Elon could easily astroturf this to create a scandal.

Americans just don't get it. Like, bro, it's an empire. Your two-party system is just there to siphon your money and offspring to feed the war machine. And just FYI, Harris sicked ICE's biometric database system on Central America.
somehow i don't think president harris would be launching an explicit war for oil
Rep. Salazar on Venezuela: "We're about to go in ... we need to go in ... Venezuela for the American oil companies will be a field day"

Of course, because it's always about getting the customer hooked and then stripping all value to recoup investment and turn obscene profits. It's called capitalism and it must be destroyed.
Google at its peak was basically the best information retrieval system in human history and they and every competitor decided going from there to “you didn’t want answers you wanted half-assed auto-complete 80%-wrong hallucinations” in a few years was the right idea

Here's the thing, splitting hate into separate silos of identity only empowers bigotry. But you're not ready to have that conversation.

This here is one of the most pathetic copes of America's imperial subjects, who can't wrap their head around the fact that the empire is collapsing and what they're seeing is just the rapacious greed of the establishment that rules them as it tries to save itself at their expense

Ironically, the Internet generation will destroy all human knowledge
there is a woman on TikTok who has been arguing for months now with randos that keep insisting that nobody called 3.5" disks "floppy disks" or "floppies" at the time. it's weird. no matter what kind of proof she provides or how many agree with her, people are coming out of the woodwork to disagree

The U.S. has no left and will never have a left. The entire political spectrum goes from predatory capitalism on one end to capitalism on the other.

Almost certain bluesky discriminates by IP and buries non-US-based accounts, which begs the question: Is bluesky operating under military cognitive domain protocols? Do they curate content to bolster imperial hegemony? Also, I want to see @franifio.bsky.social posts, but they never pop up in my feed

I'm old enough to remember when Dubya told people to go shopping right after 9/11. Uniquely American, isn't it?

This is our future. As soon as they switch the economy to digital currencies, we are fucked.
November 23, 2025 at 9:45 PM
America brands most of its news and political pundit programs with overt nationalist imagery and colors, regardless of bias. This wasn't the case before 9/11, and it was FOX news that started the trend. This kind of blanket propaganda will only get worse as the empire descends into christofascism.
