I went on a little jog because it was beautiful outside, and now will putter around the apartment for a few hours. We'll have turkey gobbler wraps I bought last night for lunch and then go to see Wake Up Dead Man at 4 and then maybe have skyline chili for dinner. Pumpkin pie in there somewhere

Whether this was random street crime or targeted political violence, I think it was bad for the president to unnecessarily put the National Guard in harm’s way like this. They simply don’t need to be there.

it was always turkey on thanksgiving, beef on christmas, and ham on easter for us
it fascinates me how most everyone in the U.S. does turkey for Thanksgiving, but we are all over the map as to what we eat for Christmas (as is proper for a hugely diverse nation).

just watched a video of ambrosia being made completely differently to what I grew up with (no marshmallows in it, cottage cheese) and was feeling judgey
but then I opened the comments and saw it was full of europeans asking if fresh food was illegal in the US and immediately changed my tune
