Oh I see how it is. Years and years of diligent creative work and I might get a couple likes by accident, yet one throwaway The Good Place meme and I'm suddenly the most popular man on the internet.

I don't even watch the show!

I have decided an hour is too long for a job interview.

Think of the Rube Goldberg setup some of your applicants are suffering through in order to create a bookcase backdrop for the webcam. My ankles are shredded.

That transphobia afflicts a vulnerable minority should be reason enough for the left to oppose it, but a more mercenary reason for the sake of the body politic to oppose it is that indulging it invariably railroads previously sensible folk into indulging a whole pile of other bigotries as well.
Transphobia is a pipeline to the far right. An example:

Suzanne Moore used to be a left wing columnist at the Guardian.

Then came the anti-trans panic. Despite the Guardian also promoting it, it wasn’t enough & she left.

Moore is now complaining about wokeness over the Irish famine & colonialism.
Suzanne Moore, who would rather be locked up than pay her BBC licence fee because the BBC is too nice to trans people for her liking.

A testament to the power of local journalism exposing the machinations of a ghastly thin-skinned anthropoid feeding off of England's archaic land ownership structure like an invasive strain of mould.
“It broke my heart, that was my savings towards a new car,” one woman who paid Milne tens of thousands of pounds told us. “He has just wiped me out.”

Who is Andrew Milne - the solicitor sending "very aggressive" letters to Sheffield homeowners?

Because SE's QA people are probably not in a position to defend themselves and their jobs in public, I want to spell out some of what it is they specifically do for us localizers, because nothing I've written here is rhetorical. SE QA acts as a final check on our work after translation and editing.
You don't need me to tell you this is yet more good money being burned after bad. But as someone who's worked with that QA team, I'll say they're unsung heroes who truly play a huge role in maintaining SE's reputation for high quality locs and to attempt to replace them with AI is deeply insulting.
Square Enix wants 70% of its QA work to be handled by generative AI by the end of 2027, in partnership with the University of Tokyo's Matsuo-Iwasawa Laboratory. https://bit.ly/4qKdyQR

Fresh congrats to Jonathan Bailey for being voted People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive 2025.

Of course FFXIV players have known for half a decade, but nice of the rest of the world to catch up.
Not everyone is broken up about G'raha staying behind in Dawntrail.

You think being the Champion of Eorzea is tough, try being her sidekick for five FFXIV expansions.
