Generally, the more doctors looking at you, the worse off you are. Doctors call in other doctors to observe & validate the maladies they’re witnessing, as in “are you seeing what I’m seeing???” It’s not a crowd he’s playing to, it’s a freaked out medical staff who all want more eyes on the problem.
